“Green technology enhances Thai-China industrial cooperation – RCEP First Year Science and Technology Carbon Neutrality Cross-Border Forum” was successfully completed on March 23, 2022. The nineteen relevant leaders and representatives from China and Thailand attended the seminar to discuss on green technology issue.
In early 2022, the “Regional Economic Partnership Agreement” (RCEP) was officially enforced. RCEP is the largest free trade agreement in the world and a milestone in the process of regional economic integration in East Asia. China and Thailand have great development potential and broad development opportunities to expand green cooperation, promote change, upgrade the energy industry and economic structure in order to enhance action of “Carbon neutrality” and the process of regional economic integration in East Asia, and accelerating environmentally friendly and low-carbon transformation of the entire society. The Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Shanghai, the Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Thailand, UNESCO, the Science and Technology Engineering Knowledge Center, Borthong Industrial Estate in Thailand, and Shanghai Guozhan Exhibition Center Co., Ltd. jointly hosted the Green Technology to help Thai-China to upgrade the cooperation in science and technology for Carbon Neutral Cross-border Forum in the first year of RCEP.

The host of this event, Managing Director of Borthong Industrial Estate Thailand, Ms.Wanna Lorluelert and Manager of Shanghai International Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., Wu Jianghong, signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the meeting and gave speeches respectively. Ms.Wanna introduced the development and management standards of Borthong Industrial Estate Thailand. She also said that Borthong Industrial Estate takes into action of low carbon, protect the environment, support sustainable development which is always an important concept and supports the green development of the organization. Ms.Wanna introduced the market potential of green technology in China and development opportunities at Tech G Shanghai International Consumer Electronics Technology Fair.
On this topic, 12 guests discussed Thailand’s investment policy. The development trend of energy and green technology, new energy from solar cells, driverless automatic driving, Carbon-Free Smart Energy Operating System, and other green technology topics.
